Education is a word applied to the imparting or acquisition of any knowledge that has been acquired through the process of learning. One's education is a lifelong process that begins with the basics of childhood learning to the ultimate results of one's adult endeavours. Certain scientists claim that their studies show that a child is being educated, by certain experiences that he is exposed to, in the womb.

Education is often applied to formal education. However, when the Education Process is Explained, one realises that Education covers a multitude of events, from formal schooling to the grasping of knowledge through day to day experiences. Many people decide to pursue the Education Process many years after finishing school. This endeavour can take a considerable amount of dedication, expense and even hardship, if they have to relocate to another city or move interstate. Then there is the possibly embarrassing situation of studying with a classroom full of fellow students that are many years your junior.

People who have been formally educated, completed college degrees, and obtained scholarships will benefit from being able to attain an advanced position in their chosen careers as well as being able to command a higher salary than their subordinates.
