I, personally, have a “L” shaped desk that is arranged in a corner of my Office, this permits me to have all my needs within easy reach. There are two large windows, one overlooking the lawns and gardens, the other gives me an uninterrupted view of the Bay, from the beach to the distant islands.

Select an Office chair that is fully adjustable, is on castors and is comfortable for you to sit in for long periods of time. Do not penny pinch when buying this item, get a known brand and one that will suit your needs. A quality Office chair will serve you for many years.
If, during the course of your business, you need to entertain clients or prospective clients, make sure that you also provide adequate and comfortable seating for them. This will leave a good impression on them and help you to establish your business interests.
Most of the furniture in my Home Office is on castors, this is something to consider when you are getting new furniture for your office. It makes cleaning that much easier, their is less effort involved when you want to relocate your Office furniture and it also helps when you need to reach power plugs or switches.
Think comfort, your working conditions are very important and being comfortable in your Home Office is essential for your success.
